How to print geography worksheets and answer keys
Choose A4 or US Letter, print the practice sheets, then print a separate answer key. Check each page in your browser’s print preview before using it.

Open Print from the quiz you want
Choose a quiz, then select Print. Its worksheets use the places and question type from that set. The numbering is separate from any random on-screen round. Check the title on both the practice sheets and answer key before pairing them.

Prepare the practice sheet
- Choose A4 or US Letter in the page’s Paper size control.
- Choose Practice sheet as the sheet variant.
- Select Print / Save as PDF to open the browser’s print dialog.
- Match the printer dialog’s paper size to the page setting and inspect every preview page.
- Print the sheet, or choose the browser’s PDF destination if it offers one.
The worksheet leaves out site menus and advertisements. Your browser may add its own page URL, headers or footers. Turn those off in the print dialog if they take up space, then check the preview again.
Print the answer key separately
In the same Print view, choose Answer key and keep the paper size unchanged. Print or save it as a separate job. Match both the quiz title and sheet number: numbering starts again on each sheet, so number 1 on sheet 2 has a different answer from number 1 on sheet 1.
Check a page before printing the full set
- Map example: open US states, choose A4 and Practice sheet, and inspect the smallest numbered locations. Generate the A4 Answer key from that same set.
- Flag example: open World flags, choose US Letter and Practice sheet, and inspect the symbols and color boundaries at actual printed size. Generate its matching Answer key separately.
- Capital example: confirm that a multi-capital prompt shows the requested role. The answer key should resolve that role rather than treating every capital as interchangeable.
If the page looks cramped
First make sure the site and printer dialog use the same paper size. If you change the browser’s scale or fit-to-page setting, check every page again. Let large sets run over several sheets rather than shrinking everything onto one page.
Print flags in color when color is part of the question. A grayscale copy can hide the difference between two designs. If details are unclear, use the larger on-screen image and its design description. For small places on map sheets, follow the number to the matching answer key.
What the map SVG download includes
Download map SVG exports the map from sheet 1 in the selected practice or answer style. It does not include the entire worksheet or its answer table. For every sheet in a larger set, use Print / Save as PDF instead. Check the source and license notes before sharing a modified export.
